Hyderabad hosts ‘Suraksha Ka Tiranga’ cyber awareness event

Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna participated in the ‘Suraksha Ka Tiranga’ Cyber Awareness Programme in Hyderabad to promote digital safety and responsible citizenship. Organized by the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) as part of an Independence Day awareness campaign, the event took place at the TGiCCC building in Banjara Hills.

Nagarjuna addressed the media, noting that cybercrime has become a significant threat because it is often invisible. He emphasized the necessity of public alertness and praised the efforts of the cybercrime department.

Telangana Director General of Police CV Anand and Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sajjanar also attended the event. DGP CV Anand highlighted the increasing challenges posed by organized criminal activities, including narcotics and cybercrime, stating that law enforcement will face significant challenges from these sectors in the coming decade. The programme included student members from the SPARK Club and representatives from Retired Employees Associations.
