Hyderabad hosts WV Connect 2026 wedding and film summit

The fourth edition of WV Connect, Asia’s largest B2B wedding summit, has opened in Hyderabad. Organized by the wedding industry magazine Wedding Vows and founded by N DakshinaaMurthi, this year’s event focuses on the theme of ‘Weddings & Films’.

The summit aims to create a formal business platform for collaboration between India’s wedding industry, valued at ₹3.86 lakh crore, and its film and OTT industry, valued at ₹1.97 lakh crore. The two sectors often share resources such as designers, cinematographers, lighting crews, and venues.

Hosted in Hyderabad due to its status as a luxury wedding market and the home of Ramoji Film City, the three-day knowledge-sharing summit features sessions, panels, and masterclasses for over 800 professionals from India and abroad.
