Hyderabad officials inspect KBR Park one‑way traffic plan

Senior officials from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and the Hyderabad City Police jointly inspected a five‑kilometre stretch around KBR Park on Wednesday. The field walk covered key intersections such as Agrasen Junction, Film Nagar, Journalist Colony, and the main park entrance, reviewing preparations for a proposed one‑way traffic system aimed at easing congestion.

During the inspection the teams highlighted narrow road sections that caused bottlenecks during peak hours. They ordered immediate road‑widening work, the fast‑track completion of minor civil works, and the installation of distinct lane markings and pelican signals for pedestrian safety. Both GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan and Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar pledged swift implementation and urged public cooperation.
