Hyderabad police bust organized robbery gang, arrest three suspects and two teen bike thieves
Hyderabad police arrested three accused and a juvenile on June 30 in connection with a robbery that occurred on June 22 in the Chilkalguda area. The victims, a labourer named C. Raj Kumar, was assaulted, robbed of a Redmi A3X mobile phone and cash, and left near a railway bridge. The investigation identified the alleged mastermind, Darla Nehemiah alias "Brucelee," who has 65 criminal cases across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and is accused of running an organised property‑crime network after his release from prison.
In a related crackdown, officers in Attapur detained two 18‑year‑old habitual offenders for stealing a Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle, recovering five two‑wheelers and naming additional participants who remain at large. Both operations were described as part of an organised crime group targeting vehicles and valuables.
