Hyderabad pub brawl leads to multiple police cases
A violent brawl occurred at the Cara Cara Pub in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills during the night of Saturday and Sunday. The clash between two groups resulted in injuries to two individuals and damage to property and vehicles. Police have registered three cases: two against the fighting groups and one against the pub management for allegedly operating past permitted hours.
In separate criminal incidents across India, a 66-year-old labour contractor was arrested in Delhi for the alleged rape of a 20-year-old woman at a factory. In Thane, seven individuals, including a police officer, are accused of honeytrapping and blackmailing a man out of Rs 17.65 lakh using a compromising video. Additionally, Gurugram police arrested a woman for stealing Rs 25 lakh in jewellery and cash from a neighbor, and arrested a man named Nikhil in connection with an abduction and ATM extortion case.
