Hyderabad Regional Ring Road bidding postponed to September 2026

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has postponed the bidding process for the northern half of the Hyderabad Regional Ring Road (RRR) project to September 24, 2026. The 161.5-kilometer northern section is part of a larger 344.5-kilometer greenfield project designed to divert through traffic away from Hyderabad and reduce congestion on the existing Outer Ring Road.

While the northern section faces delays, the alignment for the southern half, which spans 183 kilometers, has been finalized. Authorities are now preparing to begin land acquisition and tendering procedures for the southern portion of the ring road.
