Hyderabad: Woman stabbed to death by boyfriend over marriage dispute
A 21-year-old woman, identified as Rehana, was allegedly stabbed to death in the Balapur area of Hyderabad following a dispute over marriage. The victim, a native of Bihar, had reportedly been in a relationship with the suspect, 21-year-old Ahmed Salam, for approximately one year.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on the night of Sunday, August 16, at Bismillah Colony in Shaheennagar. During an argument regarding their future, Salam allegedly attacked Rehana with a knife. After the killing, the suspect reportedly placed the victim's body inside a gunny bag and fled the scene.
Authorities received an emergency call around 5:00 AM on Monday, leading to the discovery of the body. Police have registered a case and are currently searching for Salam, who remains at large. The victim's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination as investigations continue.
