Hydrogen Denmark established to advance green hydrogen and PtX

Brintbranchen and Green Power Denmark have approved the establishment of Hydrogen Denmark, a new independent organization dedicated to the green hydrogen and Power-to-X (PtX) sectors. The new entity will feature its own board and a shared secretariat to represent the interests of producers, technology providers, and energy suppliers within the industry.

The initiative aims to consolidate stakeholders to maximize Denmark's potential in the green hydrogen economy. Leaders of the merging organizations stated that the move is intended to strengthen Denmark's position as a European hub for green fuel production, enhance energy independence for Europe, and bolster industrial competitiveness. The new board's first priority will be the appointment of a director for Hydrogen Denmark.
