Hyland launches AI-driven invoice processing solution

Hyland has expanded its Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solution with a new cloud-based function specifically designed for automated invoice processing. Built on the Content Innovation Cloud™, the tool utilizes Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities and AI agents to automate the extraction of header and line-item data from various formats without requiring prior training.

The solution aims to reduce manual effort in accounts payable by identifying suppliers and mapping invoice items. It integrates with existing Hyland AP workflows and currently supports Workday, with plans to add other major ERP systems by the fourth quarter of 2026. Hyland reports that the solution has demonstrated nearly perfect accuracy in data extraction.
