Hymn to Life charity concert to be held in Tokyo

The Asia Cultural and Artistic Exchange Foundation will host a charity concert titled ‘Hymn to Life’ on August 31, 2026, at the Bunkyo Civic Hall in Tokyo. The event features over 120 performers, including Sachiko Kobayashi, Yusaku Kiyama, Junko Ishihara, Azumi Inoue, Yu-yu, and Yang Chen. The program will include mixed choruses, children's choirs, a special band, and Chinese classical dance.

The concert was initiated by Yang Chen, who organized the event to express gratitude to the medical teams and blood donors who saved his life during a rare surgery for retroperitoneal undifferentiated carcinoma. All proceeds from the concert, excluding necessary expenses, will be donated to the Cancer Research Institute.
