Hyogo region to host various community markets and seafood events in October

Various local community events and food markets are scheduled to take place in the Hyogo Prefecture region throughout October 2026.

In Daito City, the Sumidomoto Hon-dori Shopping Street will host its 5th flea market series. Following the initial sessions, upcoming dates include October 10, 11, 24, and 25. The event runs from 10:00 to 17:00 and features various vendors, including food stalls and handmade goods.

In Kobe, two seafood-focused events are planned. On October 3, the ‘Fisherman’s Stall’ event will be held at Agro Garden Kobe Komagabayashi in Nagata Ward. Local fishermen from several fisheries will serve dishes such as Kobe whitebait bowls and conger eel rice from 16:00 to 19:00.

Additionally, a ‘Fish Market’ is scheduled for October 25 at the Tarumi Station East Plaza. This event aims to promote local fishing culture by offering fresh fish and seafood dishes prepared by local fishermen and restaurants. The market will run from 11:00 to 15:00.
