Hyosung Heavy Industries unveils next-gen power tech at CIGRE 2026

Hyosung Heavy Industries is showcasing its next-generation power technologies at the CIGRE Paris Session 2026. The company is presenting a total solution range that includes High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission, Solid State Transformers (SST) for data centers, and eco-friendly transformers using biodegradable insulating oil.

A key highlight is the debut of the 420kV SF6-Free Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), a proprietary technology designed to support carbon neutrality goals in the European market. Additionally, the company is promoting its ARMOUR+ AI-based power equipment asset management platform.

As part of the event, Hyosung is hosting the third Future Grid Insight Forum, focusing on grid expansion, sustainability, and resilience. The company also held a gala dinner for global clients from 18 countries to strengthen international partnerships and discuss market trends.
