Hyperkin announces PixelByte blind box Bluetooth gamepads

Hyperkin, through its Drakong brand, has announced the PixelByte Controller, a keychain-sized Bluetooth gamepad sold in a blind box format. This approach means buyers receive a sealed package without knowing which of the seven available designs they have received.

The first series is a fully licensed Attack on Titan collection. The set includes six standard designs—Eren, Mikasa, Levi, Hange, Sasha, and Titan—with an ultra-rare variant appearing in one out of every 30 boxes. Each box also contains a matching Chibi character charm and a collectible card.

Despite its compact size, the controller features multiple modes. It can function as a standard gamepad, a hybrid mouse and keyboard for productivity tasks like scrolling slides or triggering PC hotkeys, or a fidget toy. It supports various platforms via Bluetooth, including iOS, Android, PC, Nintendo Switch, Mac, Steam, Linux, and Raspberry Pi. The device includes a Turbo Mode, a remappable D-pad, and approximately 12 hours of battery life per charge via USB-C. The MSRP is set at $24.99.
