Hyperliquid leads top perps DEX rankings, outperforms Bybit on fees and airdrop rewards

Hyperliquid is the highest‑volume perpetual futures decentralized exchange (DEX) in 2026, topping platforms such as Aster, Lighter, Grvt and ApeX Protocol. It offers self‑custody, a base fee of 0.015% (0.045% on taker side), up to 50× leverage and has distributed the largest airdrop in crypto history, with ongoing reward seasons.

Bybit, a centralized exchange, provides deeper order books, 125× leverage, fiat on‑ramps and a continuous launch‑pool reward system. Its fees are higher at 0.02%/0.055% and it requires KYC, holding user funds in custody.

A direct comparison finds Hyperliquid superior on fees, custody and airdrop upside, while Bybit leads on leverage, fiat access and overall ecosystem breadth. Traders often use both platforms to balance cost and firepower.
