Hyperscale Data boosts Bitcoin treasury to 849 BTC with 67‑coin purchase

Las Vegas‑based AI data‑center operator Hyperscale Data announced that it bought 67 BTC between June 30 and July 1, raising its corporate treasury to a total of 849 BTC. The purchase moves the company to 49th place among publicly traded firms holding Bitcoin, ahead of several previously higher‑ranked firms.

Executive Chairman Milton “Todd” Ault III reiterated the firm’s “disciplined dollar‑cost‑averaging” strategy and argued that the company’s market capitalization, roughly $53 million, undervalues its combined Bitcoin, cash, restricted cash and silver assets, which total about $106.7 million – roughly 117 % of its common‑stock market cap. The announcement follows a recent AI compute agreement with a California‑based cloud provider that could generate up to $1.2 billion in revenue.

The news comes as public‑company Bitcoin holdings rose marginally to 1.268 million BTC, valued at about $78.4 billion despite a recent price decline of more than 10 %.
