Hypershell unveils Halo full-leg consumer exoskeleton

Hypershell has unveiled the Halo, a full-leg consumer exoskeleton, at IFA 2026 in Berlin. Unlike previous models that primarily assist the hip, the Halo features a redesigned architecture that motorizes four joints, including both the hip and the knee, to work in unison with the user.

The device is constructed from carbon fiber and aerospace-grade titanium, weighing approximately 2.6 kg. It utilizes the HyperDrive Pro system with four motors providing up to 1,490 W of peak power. For mobility, it includes a 72 Wh PocketVolt battery that is detachable and weighs 370 grams, offering up to 20 km of range in Eco mode.

At its core is the HyperIntuition 2.0 algorithm, which uses neural networks and over 30 sensors to anticipate movement intentions within 200 milliseconds. This AI-driven system adjusts assistance up to 2,500 times per second and learns the wearer's specific gait and preferences over time. The Halo is priced at 2,299 euros and features an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
