Hypertune launches Intel-backed automated gaming optimization tool

Hypertune, a Miami-based firm, has launched its Gaming Performance Engineering platform following an early access phase involving over 60,000 enthusiasts. Developed in collaboration with Intel, the software utilizes the Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU) SDK and engineering support to automate complex overclocking and system optimization tasks.

The platform uses a ‘Smart Optimization Engine’ to analyze hardware, drivers, Windows settings, and memory profiles to create customized presets. This process automates overclocking for CPUs and GPUs, adjusts RAM latency and frequency, and optimizes network settings and game-specific graphic profiles. While the company claims potential FPS increases of up to 60%, actual results vary significantly based on hardware. For instance, high-end configurations like an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K with an RTX 5090 saw improvements between 18.9% and 28.2%, while mid-range systems like a Core i7-14700K with an RTX 3080 saw gains between 4.3% and 9.8%.

Hypertune is compatible with Intel and AMD processors, as well as Nvidia, AMD, and Intel graphics cards. The service is available via a subscription model, priced at $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year.
