HyperVR Games announces VR prison escape simulator Bad Inmate

HyperVR Games has announced the release date for Bad Inmate, a physics-driven prison escape simulator in virtual reality. The game is scheduled to launch on Meta Quest and PlayStation VR2 on October 15, 2026, with a SteamVR version planned for a later release.

Set in a sandbox environment, the game allows players to attempt escapes using various methods, such as stealing keys, navigating hidden passages, or using everyday objects as tools. The experience emphasizes dynamic physics, meaning player actions can lead to successful breakouts, elaborate pranks, or chaotic disasters.
