Hyu to face Hyuma Hitachi in flyweight kickboxing bout at ONE SAMURAI 3

Japanese flyweight kickboxer Hyu is set to face promotional newcomer Hyuma Hitachi in a flyweight kickboxing matchup at ONE SAMURAI 3. The event will take place at Yokohama Buntai on Saturday, September 12.

Hyu enters the bout looking to recover from the first loss of his professional career, a three-round decision defeat against Taiki Naito at ONE SAMURAI 1. Prior to that setback, the 23-year-old secured four knockouts in his first five ONE appearances. Hyu is noted for his speed, unorthodox attacks, and use of angles.

Hitachi, 28, makes his ONE Championship debut with a fighting style heavily focused on relentless boxing combinations. His approach is designed to complement his kickboxing foundation by pressing forward and using hand combinations to close distance.
