Hyun Bin returns in Made In Korea 2

Actor Hyun Bin has returned to the screen in the Disney+ series ‘Made In Korea 2’. The sequel follows the character Baek Ki Tae, who has risen to a high-ranking leadership position within the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA) nine years after the events of the first season.

To prepare for the role of a powerful and calculating intelligence director, Hyun Bin underwent a significant physical transformation, gaining approximately 13 to 14 kg to enhance his presence. The series depicts the intense power struggle between Baek Ki Tae and Jang Geon Young, a special advisor for the Unified Investigation Board.

The first season of the series saw significant success, holding the number one spot on Disney+ Korea for 17 consecutive days and reaching the global top two. Hyun Bin’s performance in the initial installment previously earned him a Best Actor nomination at the Blue Dragon Series Awards.
