Made in Korea 2 premieres on Disney+ starring Hyun Bin

The Disney+ original series ‘Made in Korea 2’ premiered on September 9, 2026. Set against the political backdrop of 1979 South Korea, the six-episode season follows a high-stakes power struggle involving the KCIA, the prosecution system, and the military.

Leading actors Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung reprise their roles, portraying characters driven by ambition and revenge. Hyun Bin plays Baek Ki-tae, an ambitious KCIA deputy director, while Jung Woo-sung portrays Jang Geon-young, a former prosecutor seeking vengeance. The season also features Woo Do-hwan as Baek Ki-hyun, a military officer and the brother of Baek Ki-tae, whose involvement adds a third dimension to the conflict.

Director Woo Min-ho noted that while the first season featured episodic structures, the second season is designed as a single, continuous narrative. The production aims to depict a more intense ‘battle between adults’ compared to the previous installment.
