Hyundai and Shell extend partnership through 2031

Hyundai Motor Company has extended its Global Business Cooperation Agreement with Shell Lubricants through 2031. The five-year renewal focuses on joint research and development for engine oil quality, electric vehicle (EV) fluids, and coolants.

The partnership aims to address future mobility market changes by expanding collaboration in thermal management, e-fluids, and sustainability. Additionally, Shell will continue as an innovation partner for Genesis Magma Racing in the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship and will co-engineer lubricants for the Hyundai N Division’s high-performance engines and electric vehicles.
