Hyundai becomes official UEFA Champions League sponsor through 2031

Hyundai Motor Company has entered into a multi-year agreement to become an official partner of the UEFA Champions League. The partnership is set to begin with the 2026/27 season and will continue through the end of the 2030/31 period.

Replacing Just Eat as a global sponsor, the deal is estimated to exceed 80 million euros annually. Hyundai intends to use the platform to showcase its advancements in electrification, software, robotics, and Physical AI. The collaboration also serves as a marketing vehicle for new vehicle launches in Europe, including the Ioniq 3, which is the first of five new models scheduled for the European market in the 2026/27 season.

José Muñoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, noted that football has been part of the company’s philosophy for over 30 years, serving as a medium to connect people across borders and generations. Xavier Martinet, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe, highlighted that the timing aligns with the company's expansion and new model introductions across 42 European markets.
