Hyundai Creta and Honda HR-V lead Move Brasil vehicle searches

Data from Webmotors Autoinsights regarding the Move Brasil program for taxis and ride-hailing apps shows significant interest in specific vehicle models between June and September 2026. The Hyundai Creta led searches with 15.58%, closely followed by the Honda HR-V at 15.46%.

Chinese automotive brands have captured a substantial portion of the market interest, accounting for 44.1% of total searches. BYD alone represents 34.7% of interest, with the Dolphin Mini, King, Song Pro, and Dolphin models featured in the rankings. The Geely EX2 also appeared prominently in third place. All five Chinese models identified in the top searches are electrified, consisting of fully electric or plug-in hybrid options.

SUV models remain highly popular, with the Creta, HR-V, Song Pro, and WR-V collectively accounting for 48.5% of searches. These findings reflect user attention rather than direct sales figures. The period analyzed also coincided with updated federal regulations that increased the price ceiling for financed vehicles from R$ 150,000 to R$ 200,000 and expanded eligibility to include gasoline hybrids.
