Hyundai Glovis partners with Shopee to support K-beauty expansion
Hyundai Glovis has established an end-to-end (E2E) logistics partnership with Shopee Korea to facilitate the global expansion of South Korean cosmetics brands. The collaboration, which began this month, provides a single-window solution covering the entire supply chain, including domestic cargo pickup, air and sea freight, import/export customs clearance, local regulatory approvals, and fulfillment services.
By integrating these processes, Hyundai Glovis aims to reduce delivery times and alleviate the administrative burdens that brands often face when managing multiple logistics providers. This service is particularly aimed at helping K-beauty brands navigate complex country-specific licensing and local logistics hurdles in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, where Shopee maintains a massive user base of approximately 700 million people.
The partnership aligns with Hyundai Glovis’ strategic goal to increase revenue from non-affiliated businesses to 40 percent of its total sales by 2030. Following the initial rollout in Southeast Asia, the companies plan to expand their logistics services to other regions, including Latin America.
