Hyundai India launches ₹1 lakh July offers as June sales slip 10% after supplier fire

Hyundai Motor India announced its July 2026 consumer promotion programme, giving cash discounts, exchange and scrappage bonuses, and other incentives of up to ₹1 lakh on models such as the Creta petrol, Old Verna and Creta Electric. The offers also include rural, corporate and government schemes, along with financing options from major banks.

In June 2026, Hyundai reported total sales of 51,335 units, a 9.97% year‑on‑year decline in domestic sales. The drop was attributed to a temporary production disruption caused by a fire at a supplier’s factory, which cost the company roughly 13,900 units. Production resumed on 22 June, and the firm expects to recover the lost volume within the current quarter, supported by strong demand for its SUV lineup and upcoming new models.
