Hyundai launches HW270A MH materials handler in Europe

Hyundai Construction Equipment has introduced the HW270A MH, a new 28-tonne materials handler, to the European market. The machine was given its world premiere at the Ecomondo international event in Rimini, Italy.

Designed for medium to heavy-duty applications, including waste handling, the HW270A MH features a six-cylinder Stage V diesel engine producing 141kW (189hp). The unit is equipped with an electronically controlled twin-pump hydraulic system and a one-touch Power Boost function to optimize performance during heavy lifting.

To enhance operator visibility and safety, the machine includes a hydraulically elevating cab structure that offers up to 2.6m of lift, alongside an Emergency Cab Descent system for safe evacuation during power loss. The handler utilizes a wider and longer undercarriage with outriggers to maximize stability during reach operations, offering a maximum working reach of up to 12.41m.
