Hyundai launches i20 hatchback sales in Brazil with prices from R$ 99,990

Hyundai began selling its new i20 compact hatchback in Brazil on 23 July, offering the model through all of its dealerships. The vehicle is assembled at the company's Piracicaba plant in São Paulo, where it shares production space with the HB20 and Creta.

The i20 is available in six trim levels, priced from R$ 99,990 for the base Comfort version. Power comes from two 1.0‑litre three‑cylinder Kappa engines: an 80 hp naturally‑aspirated unit paired with a five‑speed manual transmission, and a 115 hp turbo‑charged version coupled to a six‑speed automatic. The car measures 4.13 m long, 1.78 m wide, 1.49 m high with a 2.58 m wheelbase and a 346‑litre trunk.

Higher‑spec trims feature dual 12.3‑inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment, OTA software updates, Bluelink connectivity and ADAS driver‑assist packages. No hybrid or electric version is offered.
