Hyundai Marine Choi Kyoung-ju Invitational to open October 1

The 11th Hyundai Marine Choi Kyoung-ju Invitational, part of the KPGA Tour, is scheduled to take place from October 1 to 4 at the Ferrum Club in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province. Co-hosted by Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance and the Choi Kyoung-ju Welfare Foundation, the tournament features a total prize pool of 1.25 billion won, with the winner receiving 250 million won.

Designed with a ‘player-first’ philosophy, the event provides extensive support to participants, including waived entry fees, free accommodation for players and caddies, and two days of official practice time. Additional amenities include club cleaning services and high-tech practice environments with simulation sensors.

The field includes host and golf legend Choi Kyoung-ju, defending champion Jeon Ga-ram, and notable players such as Ham Jung-woo, Jang Yu-bin, and Choi Chan. The tournament aims to provide a high-level competitive experience modeled after PGA Tour standards.
