Hyundai Motor and Kia secure 17 Red Dot Design Awards

Hyundai Motor and Kia announced that they received a total of 17 honors at the 2026 Red Dot Design Award in the Brand & Communication Design category, including two Best‑of‑the‑Best awards and 15 main‑category awards. The German‑run Red Dot competition, alongside iF and IDEA, is regarded as one of the world’s three leading design contests.

Key winning projects included the Genesis Cheongju retail space, which earned a Best‑of‑the‑Best in retail design and a main award in space communication, and Hyundai’s UX Studio Seoul, which captured the Best‑of‑the‑Best in digital solutions and additional main awards for interior and exhibition design. Kia was recognised for its collaborative exhibitions such as the “Kia EV4 with Musinsa” showcase and the “Movement of Heritage” display, each receiving main awards.

Company spokespeople said the accolades validate their customer‑centric brand experience and global design competitiveness, and they pledged to continue leveraging strong design and marketing capabilities to build a positive brand image.
