Hyundai Motor Company wins multiple design awards at IDEA and Red Dot 2026

Hyundai Motor Company has received multiple high-profile design honors at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) 2026 and the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026.

At the IDEA 2026 awards, the company earned ten honors, including two Gold awards, two Bronze awards, and six Finalist recognitions. A notable Gold winner was the E3W and E4W electric micromobility concepts, designed to transform traditional Indian mototaxis into clean, accessible, and modular transport solutions featuring flat floors for mobility-impaired users.

In the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026, Hyundai's modular robotic concepts, MobED Urban Hopper and MobED Golf, received the ‘Best of the Best’ distinction and were nominated for the Luminary award. Additionally, the Concept THREE compact electric vehicle and the CRATER Concept electric off-road SUV were named ‘Winners’. The MobED platform utilizes a Drive-and-Lift system to maintain a horizontal position on uneven terrain.
