Hyundai Motor Group launches global AllDayEnergy V2X service

Hyundai Motor Group announced the launch of AllDayEnergy, a global Vehicle‑to‑Everything (V2X) platform that lets electric‑vehicle batteries charge when electricity is cheap and feed power back to the grid or homes to lower energy costs and generate revenue. The company partnered with South Korea's Hana Bank to introduce the "AllDayEnergy My Savings" product, offering up to 4.5% annual interest for up to 5,000 new savers who commit up to 500,000 KRW per month for a six‑month term.

AllDayEnergy consolidates Hyundai's existing V2X services – V2G pilots in Jeju, V2H emergency power support in the United States, and smart‑charging (V1G) in the Netherlands – into a single brand that will be rolled out first in the United Kingdom and then in other key markets via the Hyundai vehicle app. The launch is part of Hyundai’s broader push toward carbon‑neutral mobility, which also includes a bio‑gas‑derived hydrogen production facility in Cheongju, South Korea.
