Hyundai Motor Group launches HINT program to train 500 mobility experts

Hyundai Motor Group has announced the recruitment of 500 participants for the second session of its ‘HINT’ (HMG Incubation of New Talent) program. This vocational training initiative is part of the ‘K-New Deal Academy’ project, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

The program targets unemployed youth aged 15 to 34 and offers two specialized tracks: ‘Mobility AI,’ focusing on core technologies for future vehicle development, and ‘Manufacturing Intelligence,’ which covers digital transformation (DX) and AI integration in production environments.

Participants will undergo a three-month intensive course, beginning with a three-day residential orientation at the Hyundai Motor Group Human Resources Development Center in Gyeongju. The curriculum includes field visits to mobility production sites, mentoring from current employees, and hands-on technical training with actual vehicles.

To promote regional development and reduce concentration in the capital area, approximately 90% of the training will be conducted in non-metropolitan regions. Training centers are established in seven major cities, including Seoul, Daejeon, Cheongju, Gwangju, Daegu, Ulsan, and Busan. Applications are open from September 14 to October 5 via the official HINT recruitment website.
