Hyundai Motor Group to early-pay 2.26 trillion won to suppliers

Hyundai Motor Group has announced plans to early-pay 2.2562 trillion won in supply payments to approximately 6,000 partners ahead of the Chuseok holiday. The payments, which include participation from major group affiliates such as Hyundai Motor, Kia, Hyundai Mobis, Hyundai Steel, and Hyundai Engineering, will be distributed up to 23 days earlier than the scheduled dates.

This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on suppliers facing increased expenditures for wages and raw materials during the holiday season. The group has also encouraged its primary suppliers to extend early payments to second- and third-tier partners to ensure liquidity flows throughout the entire supply chain.

In addition to financial support, the group is conducting various social contribution activities. These include donating goods and meals to vulnerable populations, supporting local traditional markets and farms, and providing free vehicle inspections for customers through Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis service centers.
