Hyundai Motor India launches 60% buyback for Creta Electric

Hyundai Motor India has introduced an Assured Buyback Program for its Hyundai Creta Electric electric SUV. Under the scheme, customers who meet specified conditions can receive up to 60% of the vehicle’s ex‑showroom price after three years or 45,000 kilometres of use. Eligibility requires regular servicing at authorized Hyundai service centres, the car to be in good condition, mileage within the limit and no major accidents, damage or unauthorised modifications.

The initiative is aimed at alleviating resale‑value concerns that have slowed electric‑vehicle adoption in India, offering buyers greater financial confidence. The Creta Electric is offered with a 51.4 kWh battery delivering an ARAI‑certified range of about 510 km (or a 42 kWh pack for roughly 420 km), supports DC fast charging, Vehicle‑to‑Load, digital key, Level‑2 ADAS and other premium features. Hyundai also promotes a Battery‑as‑a‑Service model and operates more than 30,000 charging points, including 183 DC fast‑charging stations across 105 cities, with plans to expand to 600 stations by 2030.
