Hyundai Motor launches Global Integrated Safety Council

Hyundai Motor Company has launched the Global Integrated Safety Council (GOSC) to standardize safety management across its international operations. The initiative aims to bridge gaps in safety standards and facilitate the sharing of best practices among its various global production sites.

The inaugural GOSC conference is being held in South Korea from September 16 to 18, bringing together approximately 40 safety leaders from 12 countries, including representatives from the Americas, Europe, India, China, and the Asia-Pacific region. The event is led by Choi Young-il, Vice President and Chief Safety Officer of Hyundai Motor.

The three-day conference is structured into three distinct sessions: a global safety session to discuss strategic implementation, a brand session to examine how safety management impacts corporate trust and brand value, and a field safety session held at the Ulsan plant to review on-site safety technologies and systems.
