Hyundai Motor Securities reorganizes Research Center into four teams
Hyundai Motor Securities is reorganizing its Research Center from a three-team structure to a four-team system, effective September 1. The restructuring aims to strengthen corporate analysis, investment strategy, and global research capabilities while enhancing internal controls.
Under the new structure, the existing Corporate Analysis, Investment Strategy, and Global Research teams will be replaced by Corporate Analysis Team 1, Corporate Analysis Team 2, Global Investment Strategy Team, and a newly established Research Support Team. The Research Support Team will centralize organizational operations to improve efficiency and stability.
Jang Mun-su, who has covered the mobility and automotive sectors since 2018, has been appointed as the new Head of the Research Center. He will also concurrently serve as the leader of Corporate Analysis Team 2, focusing on growth industries such as semiconductors, mobility, and bio-pharmaceuticals. Corporate Analysis Team 1, led by Park Hyun-wook, will handle traditional and cyclical industries including construction, steel, shipbuilding, and food and beverage. The Global Investment Strategy Team, led by Managing Director Lee Hwa-jin, will oversee domestic and international economic trends and asset allocation strategies.
Through this reorganization, Hyundai Motor Securities plans to expand its research support scope from institutional sales to include pension and wealth management (WM) sectors.
