Hyundai Motor supplies Genesis vehicles for first Korea‑Central Asia summit
Hyundai Motor announced it will provide a total of 33 Genesis G90 and G80 luxury cars as official vehicles for the inaugural Korea‑Central Asia summit, scheduled for September 16 in Seoul. The summit will bring together the leaders and senior ministers of South Korea and five Central Asian states—Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan—to discuss cooperation on economics, diplomacy and trade. Hyundai signed a memorandum of understanding with the summit's preparation team at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on September 27, confirming the vehicle support.
The Korean automaker said the provision of the vehicles will help ensure smooth operation of the summit and serve to showcase the Genesis brand to high‑profile foreign guests. Hyundai noted that it has previously supplied official cars for events such as the 2025 APEC summit, the 2025 G20 summit in Johannesburg, and the 2024 Korea‑Africa summit, and it will also provide vehicles for the ASEAN summit in the Philippines later this year.
