Hyundai Motor supports Ulsan traditional markets ahead of Chuseok

Hyundai Motor Company management and labor representatives held a shopping event at Hogye Market in Ulsan to support local traditional markets ahead of the Chuseok holiday. As part of the ‘Ulsan Win-Win Market Project,’ the company donated 90 million won to the Ulsan Volunteer Center and the Ulsan Community Chest.

The funds will be used to purchase holiday gift sets and Onnuri gift certificates from traditional markets, which will then be distributed to 1,000 low-income households and approximately 80 local welfare facilities. This initiative is part of a collaborative effort launched in July between Ulsan City and the Hyundai Motor Ulsan plant to connect corporations directly with traditional markets.

Hyundai Motor has maintained a consistent history of holiday donations since 2011. To date, the company's cumulative holiday donations have reached 17 billion won, while cumulative purchases of traditional market gift certificates by the Ulsan plant total 151.5 billion won.
