Hyundai Motorsport faces rain‑hit setbacks at WRC Finland rally
During the tenth round of the World Rally Championship in Finland, heavy rain disrupted the Hyundai i20 N Rally team's performance. Driver Adrian Furlom, who started the day in second place, fell to sixth after losing significant time on the wet gravel stages. He said the loss was "impossible to recover" and shifted his target to a realistic finish.
Team‑mate Thierry Neuville also struggled with the conditions, noting that the rain turned the rally into a "crazy day" and forced the crew to focus on minimizing time loss rather than pushing for podium positions. Oliver Solberg described the morning as "perfect" but said the sudden downpour later in the day made the stages extremely challenging, further widening gaps among the drivers. The team remains optimistic about the remaining stages, aiming to improve their positions despite the adverse weather.
