Hyundai becomes official automotive partner of UEFA Champions League

Hyundai Motor Company has signed a multi-year agreement to become the Official Automotive Partner of the UEFA Champions League. The partnership, brokered through UC3, will span five seasons, beginning with the 2026/27 season and continuing through the end of the 2030/31 season.

As part of this strategic alliance, Hyundai will showcase its latest electric vehicle technology to a global audience. The IONIQ 3, a compact electric hatchback designed for the European market, will serve as the flagship model for the partnership. The IONIQ 3 is produced at Hyundai’s facility in İzmit, Turkey, and features an aerodynamic design with a WLTP-rated range of up to 497 km.

Hyundai CEO José Muñoz stated that the partnership provides an ideal platform to present the company’s designed vehicles to passionate fans. The company intends to leverage the tournament to promote its broader vision of mobility, including software, robotics, and intelligent connectivity, across its 42 European markets.
