Hyundai Palisade nears 300,000 global sales milestone

Hyundai Motor Company reports that the second-generation Palisade SUV is approaching a global sales milestone of 300,000 units. As of August 2026, the company has delivered 281,920 vehicles since the new generation was introduced in January 2025.

With an average monthly sales rate of approximately 15,000 vehicles, the model is expected to surpass the 300,000 mark within the next month. This represents a significant acceleration in sales compared to the first generation, which took approximately 28 months to reach the same milestone.

A major driver of this growth is the popularity of hybrid powertrains. In the first eight months of 2026, hybrid versions accounted for 72.1% of total Palisade sales, reflecting increasing consumer demand for fuel-efficient, electrified SUVs, particularly in the North American market.
