Hyundai previews new Elantra N powertrain and unveils redesigned Kona SUV
Hyundai has introduced the latest generation of the Elantra (branded as Avante in South Korea) and signaled that a high‑performance Elantra N variant will arrive with a substantially stronger engine. Hyundai plans to offer the updated Kona with a range of powertrains, including conventional gasoline engines, a 1.6‑liter hybrid, and a fully electric version, with additional engine options such as a 2.0‑liter naturally aspirated unit mentioned in reports.
