Hyundai rolls out updated Grand i10 in India and confirms hybrid i20 N for Europe

Hyundai has launched an updated Grand i10 for the Indian market. The new version, released on 10 April 2026, is offered in several trims with prices ranging from ₹5.55 lakh to ₹8.00 lakh (ex‑showroom). It features a 5‑speed manual or AMT transmission, petrol and CNG engine options, an 8‑inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual‑tone interiors, and a range of convenience items such as keyless entry, cruise control and a cooled glove box.

Separately, Hyundai’s R&D chief Manfred Harrer told Autocar that the forthcoming fourth‑generation i20 N will return for the European market with a hybrid powertrain. The successor will use existing hybrid technology, likely a 1.6‑litre four‑cylinder hybrid unit, and aims to bridge the gap between the current 150 kW turbo petrol model and the brand’s electric performance cars. The current i20 N is priced at about AU$38,500 and the hybrid version is expected later this year.
