Hyundai Rotem launches first dedicated aerospace recruitment drive
Hyundai Rotem has launched its first dedicated recruitment drive specifically for the aerospace sector, seeking both new and experienced professionals across 14 specialized roles. The recruitment process, which runs until the 20th of this month, focuses on critical technologies including ducted ramjet engines, hypersonic engines, methane engines, and propulsion system testing facilities.
The company is actively working on advanced projects, such as developing ducted ramjet and hypersonic engines in collaboration with the Agency for Defense Development and the Korea Institute for Defense Technology Promotion. In the space sector, Hyundai Rotem is leveraging its experience with methane engines to participate in technical development tasks for reusable launch vehicles.
To support this expansion, Hyundai Rotem has restructured its organization, establishing a Space Mobility Team within its Aerospace Development Center and adopting the ‘AD’ (Aerospace·Defense) designation. Furthermore, the company plans to invest approximately 300 billion won by 2034 to establish a comprehensive aerospace production and R&D base in partnership with Jeonbuk State and Muju County.
