Hyundai Santa Fe facelift renders reveal design changes

New renderings of the upcoming Hyundai Santa Fe facelift suggest significant aesthetic updates. Based on recent test vehicle sightings in the United States, the redesigned model is expected to move away from the current H-shaped lighting motif in favor of slim, vertical LED daytime running lights and separate headlamp units located lower on the bumper.

The vehicle is expected to maintain its signature boxy silhouette but with refined surfaces on the bumpers and tailgate. A potential off-road oriented variant, the Santa Fe XRT Pro, may also be introduced, featuring all-terrain tires, specialized bumpers, and silver skid plates to enhance its outdoor appeal.

Technological updates are anticipated, including the implementation of the Pleos Connect infotainment system and larger displays. Regarding powertrains, rumors suggest a transition from a dual-clutch transmission to an 8-speed torque converter automatic for the 2.5 turbo gasoline engine, alongside potential improvements to hybrid systems and the possible addition of extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) options.
