Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz drives 72% of HMID orders at GIIAS 2026

The Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz and Stargazer Cartenz X models accounted for approximately 72 percent of Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) total vehicle orders (SPK) during the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. This represents a 23 percent increase in orders for the Stargazer Cartenz line compared to the previous year's GIIAS event.

Hyundai President Director Kenny Lee attributed this growth to a bold price repositioning strategy implemented since GIIAS 2026, which aimed to make the models more accessible without compromising features. The Stargazer Cartenz also saw significant retail growth in July 2026, recording over 1,100 units sold. This monthly figure marked a 55 percent year-on-year increase and a 42 percent month-on-month increase. Additionally, the model received the ‘Best Value Family MPV’ award at the Indonesia Automotive Awards 2026.
