Hyundai to debut 2027 Tucson and Boulder Concept in New York

Hyundai is preparing for significant reveals at the New York International Auto Show. The company is set to host a global live-streamed event on October 1 to officially debut the 2027 Tucson SUV. While the model has previously been shown in South Korea, specific technical details regarding engine options, pricing, and performance metrics for the international market remain unannounced.

Additionally, Hyundai has debuted the Boulder Concept, a design study for a sport utility vehicle. This concept previews the brand’s first fully-boxed body-on-frame architecture, a platform intended to support a production midsize pickup expected by 2030. According to Hyundai President and CEO José Muñoz, the concept is designed to target the American market by offering vehicles capable of off-roading, towing, and hauling.
