Hyundai to launch new i30 Sedan in Australia by 2027
Hyundai has confirmed plans to launch the latest generation of the i30 Sedan in the Australian market during the first half of 2027. The new model is expected to feature Hyundai’s ‘Art of Steel’ design language, characterized by boxier body surfaces, sharp LED lighting, and wider wheel fenders.
In terms of pricing, the vehicle is estimated to start at approximately 30,000 Australian dollars, excluding on-road costs. There is speculation that the lineup may shift toward hybrid powertrains to meet new emission regulations and increasing consumer demand, potentially replacing the standard 2.0-liter engine option.
The interior is expected to offer advanced technology, including large touchscreen displays ranging from 8 to 14.6 inches and integrated connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Lane Keeping Assist are anticipated to be standard across most variants.
