Hyundai unveils 2027 Creta redesign with hybrid power and larger cabin

Hyundai plans to launch the next‑generation Creta at the Bharat Mobility Show in India in February 2026, with market sales to follow later in the year. The 2027 model will shift to Hyundai’s new K3 platform – also used for the Kia Seltos – giving the SUV greater length, width and interior space.

The redesign features a flatter roofline, squared‑off rear, full‑width LED light bar, larger alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof. Inside, a premium cabin will host the Pleos Connect system with a larger central touchscreen, a slim driver display, Gleo AI integration and updated ADAS features. Powertrain options include a 1.5‑litre petrol hybrid unit, with rumors of a 1.2‑litre turbo‑charged engine that could also support hybrid technology. Existing engine variants are expected to remain available.
